"Never has the silence of displacement been so deafening and so omnipresent. Poetic language lives, labors, amid this displacement; and so does political vision." -Adrienne Rich

A lot of work has gone into this site's original artwork, layout and writing - if you wish to use something, please link back to this site and give appropriate credit, or contact me for permission if you wish to use any photos, artwork, or large portions of text. Thanks!

current projects
Currently studying at the University of Strathclyde, looking at social conscience and higher education in Scotland - for more information, please see my academic page.
I'm also on the board of the Centre for Human Ecology, where I edit the newsletter and help with the masters course.
For two years, I was writing a column on the education page of the Scotsman, but sadly that was cancelled due to space limitations.
